High Mass Every Sunday

With the sung Mass every Sunday now, we have the special opportunity of developing the congregational singing at Mass.

The responses to the priest are sung by the congregation and the choir during a high Mass, as well as the Mass ordinary prayers.

First Sunday Potluck March 5

Please join us on Sunday, March 5th in the DONAHUE CENTER for our First Sunday of the month potluck.

We will have a High Mass at 3:30, followed directly by the potluck. All are invited!

Extra help cleaning up the Donahue Center after dinner is greatly appreciated!

Super First Sunday

The St. Joseph Latin Mass Society will have a special visitor on Sunday February 5, 2017—Fr. Zachary Akers, FSSP, development director for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. Fr. First Friday Mass & Throat Blessings

Beginning February 3, 2017 there will be a First Friday Mass

in the Extraordinary Form at 10:30 a.m.

 

Friday is also the Feast of Saint Blaise, Fr. Tim Nolt will administer throat blessings.

 

After Mass there will be adoration and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

Vespers & Benediction

Vespers in the Extraordinary Form will be sung on Thursday, February 2 at 7 PM for Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Please join Fr. Hai Nguyen and the Saint Augustine Latin Mass Choir for an evening of prayer in one of the most time-honored Catholic traditions.
The evening will include the 2nd Vespers of the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord, with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament followed by Compline hymns. Presented in the Extraordinary Form, the service will include Gregorian chant, as well as motets by William Byrd, T.L. da Victoria, and Thomas Tallis. February 2, also known as Candlemas, is the traditional end of the Christmas Season.
